Schneider Electric has announced it will host its Innovation Day 2026 event in Sydney next month, bringing together technology partners, customers and industry leaders to discuss AI-ready infrastructure, digital transformation and technology ecosystem collaboration.
According to Schneider Electric, the event, titled Building Smarter Tech Ecosystems, will take place at the Sofitel Wentworth in Sydney on 18 August and will examine how organisations can respond to changing energy demands, accelerating digitisation and an increasingly complex global business environment.
The company said the event will explore the role of connected and sustainable digital infrastructure in supporting business agility, operational intelligence and long-term profitability, while highlighting the importance of interoperability, visibility and ecosystem partnerships.
Schneider Electric said discussions will centre on three major trends influencing technology investment and business decision-making: the evolving energy landscape, the rapid pace of digitisation and the emergence of a more complex global market. It said these factors are increasing demand for scalable, resilient and sustainable digital infrastructure, as well as greater collaboration across technology ecosystems.
Farokh Ghadially, vice president of IT and Data Centres at Schneider Electric, said organisations are facing significant changes in how technology infrastructure is designed and managed.
“The convergence of AI, digitisation, electrification and sustainability is fundamentally reshaping how organisations design, operate and scale their technology infrastructure,” Ghadially said.
“As customer challenges become more complex, success increasingly depends on connected ecosystems that bring together technology, expertise and partnerships. Innovation Day is an opportunity for customers, partners and industry leaders to explore how collaboration can unlock greater agility, intelligence and long-term value in the AI era.”
According to Schneider Electric, the program will include presentations from industry experts, customers and company representatives covering AI-ready infrastructure, IT/OT convergence, software and services, sustainability, operational visibility and total cost of ownership.
The company said attendees will also have access to an Innovation Hub featuring live demonstrations, Meet-the-Expert sessions and an interactive Dragon’s Den: Smart Ecosystem Edition challenge.
Schneider Electric said the event will conclude with the APC Channel Partner Awards, recognising partner achievements and contributions during the 2026 financial year.
