The Northern Territory government has named a portable water purification system developer and a seafood processing operation as the latest recipients of grants awarded through the NT Local Jobs Fund (LJF). 

Medical imaging technology company EMVision Medical Devices has secured a $600,000 payment after achieving an “important milestone” for its portable imaging devices. The payment comes from the Australian Stroke Alliance, as part of the Commonwealth of Australia Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) program.

The Tasmanian government has launched the second round of its Small Business Incubator and Accelerator Program, allocating $1 million in funding for Tasmanian businesses seeking to get new ideas off the ground.
